The Russian firm Skyf has broken a new world record for cargo! In flight tests in Tatarstan, the Skyf drone carried a payload of 220 pounds 330 feet–breaking the record of a 134-pound payload set in 2016. Skyf’s drone uses a combination of gas engines and electric motors, and the company notes that it is intended to carry a 440-pound payload for up to eight hours.
